Nothing compares to the unique experience of a total solar eclipse, and North Texas - Including Ladonia and Pecan Gap - will enjoy the full effect of this celestial event beginning at 1:43pm local time and ending just before 1:47pm.

Anyone in the path of totality will witness the amazing visuals of the eclipse, but there is a tremendous difference in the experience we will see in Ladonia compared to being "in town." Away from the constant hum of traffic in the city, the sudden darkness will force a transition for insects and animals - creating a peripheral experience that only a quiet rural setting can provide.
