Chamber Approves Sound System Donation to City of Ladonia Council Chambers

Have you heard the latest news? A common concern among residents and visitors attending meetings at the City of Ladonia Council Chambers is the room's poor acoustics. Despite its small size, the air conditioning system and the absence of individual microphones for council members make it challenging to hear discussions clearly.

During a special meeting of the Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia on Thursday, September 19, 2024, members discussed and approved the purchase of a professional sound system, including assistive listening technology. This system will be donated to the City of Ladonia, pending approval and acceptance by the City Council.

2024-2025 Fannindel Fighting Falcons Polos

Volunteers from the Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia spent Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2024 ironing 200+ fierce Fannindel Falcon logos to polo shirts. Thanks to Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia VIP Business Members Danielle Rusthoven, head of US design at Massod Textile Mills, for accessing these nice shirts AND Sheree Renee with Ladonia’s, To A Tee Design’s for allowing us use of their space and equipment. And many thanks to Danielle Rusthoven, Cheryl McClure, Carol Duckworth, and Sophia Peterson for the great work in putting the finishing touches on this batch of shirts!

For 6 years, the Chamber has contributed a school shirt to every student and faculty member of Fannindel ISD. At the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year, these shirts will be donated to help promote school spirit, pride and unity. Chamber fundraisers like the upcoming Annual Banquet and 20 Mile Market provide funds for us to assist our community, neighbors and schools. Thank you for your support! GO FALCONS!

Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia Support For Fannindel ISD in 2023

The Chamber of Commerce of Ladonia (The Chamber) has been a proud supporter of Fannindel ISD for many years, providing a Fannindel-branded t-shirt for every student.

In 2023, The Chamber upgrade from cotton t-shirts to embroidered, polo-style shirts, donated funds to provide uniforms for The Falconettes Drill team uniforms, and made financial contributions to two FFA students.

The total financial value of these donated items and funds to Fannndel ISD in 2023 was $2,545.79.
